Worth the try to see if it works for you

We tried this because we had been doing a mail order meal plan that would claim 15-20 min of prep, but was closer to 40 minutes for real people without chef level knife skills. This has been a life saver. We are a week into our first month and the kids (10yo and 12 yo) have been able to start the meals as I come in the door and have dinner ready by the time my spouses commute home is complete. The kids have even liked it enough that they are taking left overs to school. It is nice not having as much processed food in the meals, and knowing what is going into them, has given me and my husband more peace of mind and more time with family. Well worth the investment. My husband and I are planning to purchase the companions for summer, spring, and fall.

Do you like clean kitchens??

Totally worth the price because it is designed to eliminate food waste. So far all three meals we’ve had were absolutely delicious. I loved the easy prep directions, and they day of directions are easy to follow, too. The best thing about it is no messy kitchen and no mental burden of cooking dinner every night. Do it!!

Overall Thrilled, although wish I knew it was written primarily for an Instant Pot

The process was overall great, my husband and I completed it successfully with minimal hiccups our first try. The 2 recipes we tried so far have been great. My only edits would be that some of the prep is different depending on if you have an instant pot or not, and that's not clear in the bulk instructions, you only find out when you go to thaw them. For example the mexican rice needs the rice kept separate if you are using a crock pot instead. Also, I wish it was clear which meat needed to be thawed/cooked for the prep. But again, overall I'm thrilled with the value of this guide. Just a few small tweaks :) Looking forward to purchasing more!

Great recipes but could have portions

This book is very well laid out and has many different meals to choose from. Not only that there's a calendar and shoping list that's very comprehensive. The only thing I'm missing is how many portions a meal makes. Me and my partner like to make dinner and have leftovers for lunch. At first glance it seems like it's made for two. I can't be sure though because there's nowhere listed how many portions there is in a given recipe. Hopefully I just got the one bad one and I look forward to using other recipe books

Hey I'm so glad you liked it overall! The portions are in the tips section usually, each meal feeds 4-6!

Most accomplishing 4 hours ever

We are very busy parents (I am a nurse and my partner is a business owner). We were eating terrible as we just did not have time to make homemade meals throughout the week. I also struggle with meal creativity. So, we purchased Rachel's freezer meals guide, and that same weekend did all our meal prep (made 5 meals Saturday and 5 meals Sunday to break it up). We've gotten 5 eaten so far and they are absolutely delicious! Even my 10 year old picky eater has enjoyed every meal. We use most of them in the slow cooker, so we get home and our meal is ready to eat!! I highly recommend. The best purchase I've ever made.
